Jack Scaccia Sr. Memorial Golf
Jack Scaccia Sr. Memorial Golf Tournament
Thanks to all who participated in the 2012 edition of this great event - whether you played golf, sponsored a hole or donated directly to the Tournament. We appreciate all of you making the tournament more successful every year. And a special thank you to John Macejka for the time and effort he puts into the tournament every year.
Last year's event was held at Mohawk River Country Club and provided quite an exciting finish. The team of Clark Adams and sons Seth, Connor and Kyle tied for first place with the team of Bob Hamilton, Peter Guidarelli, Mike Delorino (???) and Dave Aktarian. The medalists were determined by matching cards, with Bob Hamilton's team ending up on top. First prize this year was a round of golf for four players at the Saratoga National golf course, a $600 value generously donated by C. J. DeCrescente.
Unfortunately (or fortunately?) nobody won the automobile by scoring a hole-in-one, but they are getting closer! The car was donated by Billy Fucillo, who has said he would love to see someone win it. Thank you Billy!

Jack Scaccia Sr. was a bowling proprietor in the Capital District for over 40 years with bowling centers in Troy, Guilderland, and Schenectady. During that time he endeavored to promote the sport of bowling as a family activity, always paying special attention to the youth bowling programs of the Capital District. Jack's untimely passing in 2003 left a void, not only with his family and those that knew him personally, but also with those Junior Bowlers who may not benefit from Jack's extraordinary generosity.
In Jack's memory his family and friends have established the "Jack Scaccia Sr. Memorial Golf Tournament". This will be our fourth annual tournament and all the proceeds from this event will be used to support and further Junior Bowling in the Capital District.
Thank you for helping to keep Jack's memory alive by supporting junior bowlers through this tournament.
